Pricing Case

Guiding Principle

Pricing cases are quite standard formatted through out the process. The meat of these cases is in identifying an appropriate method of pricing, and then asking for relevant and usable information to complete a straightforward calculation. In doing so, the key areas for focus are:
- Laying out the options in a MECE structure, and correctly mapping the decision factors to settle on an appropriate approach
- Asking the right questions, to correctly identify usable information to arrive at a price
- Accurate calculation, and smart sanity checking to drive confidence
Rather than discussing the nitty-gritties much further, looking at an example case, and then solving more on your own would help. Beyond that you can have a look at the set of frameworks later on to spark a little more thought on useful structures to solve pricing cases.
